We collect personal data in connection with specific activities such as: membership, placing an order, booking holidays, volunteering and conducting research.

Club operations are based in the UK and we store most of our data on secure cloud based services. Some organisations which provide services to us may transfer data outside the European Economic Area but we’ll only allow this if your data is adequately protected.

To protect your data when it is transferred outside the European Economic Area we will either:

  • put in place contract clauses approved by the European Commission or the relevant data protection regulator to protect your data;

  • ensure that the country that the data is transferred to has been approved as adequate for data protection by the European Commission; or

Sometimes is may be necessary for us to transfer data out of the European Economic Area without us being able to put these safeguards in place. We will only do this where the law permits, for instance if the transfer is necessary to perform a contract with you.

As indicated above, we may pass your information to our service providers, agents and associated organisations for the purposes explained above.

Some of our site areas have Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and you may be recorded when you visit them. 3.25 Monitoring of telephone calls

Your telephone calls to us may be recorded and monitored for quality control and regulatory purposes.

3.26 Covid-19 – NHS Test and Trace (England),

All guests will be asked to scan the relevant NHS contact tracing QR code upon arrival and each day during the course of their stay. Alternatively guests may be asked to provide their contact details on a paper form, for the purpose of contact tracing.

If asked, Corfe Castle Dorset Camping will respond to requests from NHS England Test and Trace. Should one of these services contact us then Corfe Castle Dorset Camping is required to provide the relevant names and contact details we hold matching their request.  

The information that could be shared with these NHS services is: names, telephone numbers, email address, postal address, date of visit, arrival time and, where possible, departure time. No other information (regarding a booking or your personal information) is required nor is it passed on. 

Corfe Castle Dorset Camping will be following the guidance published by the England Government.   

Any data collected by the Corfe Castle Dorset Camping solely for this purpose will only be kept for 21 days from the date of departure.
